A Talented Badminton Athlete, Apriyani Rahayu

 As we all know, Indonesia has gotten so many achievements in the field of sports. Badminton —one of the most popular sports in Indonesia— has won so many competitions because of the talented athletes that our country has. 

One of the most famous and talented badminton athletes nowadays is Apriyani Rahayu. She’s an Indonesian badminton player who specializes in women's doubles and mixed doubles when she was a junior, but on her senior day, she became a badminton specialist in woman’s doubles. 

For her achievements, she was the winner of the women's doubles and achieved a bronze medal at the 2018 World Championships in China. She also won the 2018 Asian Games in Jakarta. Last but not least, she got the gold medalist at the Tokyo Olympics and was partnered with Greysia Polii. Of course there are still so many achievements that I have not mentioned, so we can’t doubt how talented she is right?

Now, that we all know about her achievements, let me tell you about her personal identity. First of all, she was born on April the 29th 1998, in Southeast Sulawesi. Her trainers are Eng Hian, Prasetyo R.B and Ari Subarkah. Her highest rank ever achieved was the 3rd, and her rank now is the 4th.

My 2024 Resolution

 2023 has been a really memorable year for me, as this year I experienced so many things for the first time. In 2023, I became a senior high school student, I had join an organization called PK, I experienced being a part of a school music festival called “Gibyapantra”, and I made so many new friends that are amazing, smart, and kind.  Despite the good things that happened last year, there are also things that I want to improve in 2024. Last year, i feel like i put too much burden to achieve so many things. And for this reason, I tend to have a burn out and stressed a lot.
